ThIs is superb Jennifer. Love the pears and especially the one hanging over the edge of that beautiful marble ledge. Did you use black paper, if not, how did you achieve the dark background? A beautiful watercolour.

Thank you Carole for your lovely comments. In answer to your question, I did NOT use black paper - it is all Watercolour... Layers and layers of watercolour. Let each layer dry before applying the next one.

Another example of how marvelous watercolour can be...in the right hands. This is superb.

Superb, especially the light on the front pear and your darkdark darks. (not easy in watercolour)
