Copper pot in the rain by Jen Edwards

Beautifully done in oil pastels, Jen...not easy to blend, are they! lovely tones here

Very good indeed.

Thank-you Thalia, these ones arnt as they are harder oil pastels, i have some super softs that are really buttery and very easy to blend, but with them you sometimes lose detail, so it's a fine line. I really enjoy playing with oil pastels and learning how they work. Thank you David x

Lovely picture Jen.

A great array of flowers and a super copper pot Jen. Some shading under the pot would give it a bit of solidity, I think. Oil pastels are not the easiest to use but they can be very rewarding with perseverance.

Cracking colours, and that looks like a weighty pot.

Thank you Carol I shall give it a rework. I am determined to get these right as I am really really enjoying them. I had a hemiplegic migraine stroke 18 months ago and another one 3 weeks ago, like a normal stroke it's affected me down one side and my vision, cognitive impact, and speech. I have found pastels to be a godsend and very forgiving to use over other mediums since this happened. Thank you Stephen, thank you Gerry.
