Beautiful and atmospheric.

Another of your super skies Jem, nice variety with the trees also.

Lovely limpid sky fine painting Jem .

Reminds me of Edward Wesson and he was one of the finest

It's always smashing to see one of your watercolours on the site Jem, and you never disappoint, this is another beauty.

Thank you all very much for your comments, much appreciated as always.

Beautiful light and sky Jem and excellent viewpoint for creating distance. Masterwork

Thank you Dennis.

Beautiful 'silvery' look to this scene, gorgeous Jem.

Thank you Carole, and yes it is all a bit silvery isn't it.

You really could be there (in wellies and something warm): and that's not because of the detail - this isn't detailed at all; it's the atmosphere that makes it real, the light in the painting and the palette chosen.

Thank you, Robert. Very generous comment as always. I'm very glad if it works in the way you say.

Super work, really accomplished, with just two or three pigments I would guess. This is a real lesson in how to limit your palette for more impact.

Thank you very much, Sharon. I think I probably used about 6 colours for this, but I can see how it looks fewer, and it probably could have been fewer.
