Great reflections (and greens!).

I like the looseness and I wish we had the problem of too many greens right now. You've captured them well.

Good, loose, strong watercolour Jem. You succeeded in creating a good range of natural greens.

I like rough and ready more than more considered work in watercolour - although I should describe this as un-fussed, rather than rough and ready.

PS - suggest that it's the big shapes, and tonal contrasts and balance, which make this work so well.

Lovely work Jem - greens conquered! Great reflection in the water.

Another total success Jem a superb work

One of my slightly rough and ready paintings. I painted it very quickly, and thought throughout that it was going badly. Later I looked at it and thought it had turned out ok, despite the lack of (normally essential) faith during the painting. The main concern at the time was to find some differences within the overwhelming greenness of those summer greens.
