Absolutely agreed; I do like 'grey' paintings, which show the many varieties of colour and tone that 'grey' can possess, and also convey a really convincing sense of atmosphere. This goes for your other painting too - Uphill Creek, is it? Where is this, I wonder .... Cornwall?

A couple of fairly dull grey-day pieces. Less light to help define the form, which is always a good challenge.
