Skillfully painted and a great technique - keep posting Jem.

I do admire your watercolours Jem, you have a wonderful skill. Love the light to dark areas in the foreground. I'm off to have another look at your website!

Super watercolour Jem, loose technique with the trees but lots of implied detail, which is very effective.

A lovely piece. Love the brushwork and the atmosphere.

A really great piece of work.

Lovely crisp clean light, Jem, very Wesson/Steve Hall.

Another fantastic watercolour; I should really enjoy watching you paint this.

Thank you all for the enormous encouragement of your comments. Of course - as mentioned - I owe a debt to 'The Edwards', Wesson in particular. At his awe-inspiring best he is still teaching us how to paint and I think will always be a big inspiration to me. As for Seago, one can only gasp at his facility. I think you've seen the best I've managed so far though! Cheers.
