Reflections and shadows on the river Chew

Beautiful atmosphere, colours and reflections.

Love your capturing of the river bank and reflections in the water, and your fading of the background trees against the sharpness of the detail in the foreground ones adds a super sense of depth Jem

I don't think I could bear to pick up a brush again......why can't I paint like this?! Lol. My favourite two elements, water & tree's.

I can only echo what has been said by Ann and Ros above. Like Fiona, I, too,have run into painter's block, (but am trying again today for the first time in weeks). Love looking thru your gallery.
