I don't know how it was, but I missed this one - I think the others have said it all, but you referred to the washing-off technique, and I see it's really worked here: always interesting to experiment with what watercolour can do - I am not an experienced watercolourist, but increasingly enthusiastic, and look at your work with great interest and not a little envy.
