I love this Jane. I have been following your work on your blog and 100 washes, you've produced some lovely work.

lovely handling of the paint, and capturing the flowers perfectly, well done, this really caught my eye

Very cleverly done - you've got a loose, washy feel, but still capture the shape of the flowers: I'm not surprised you achieved this with the red flowers of one of your other postings, it being a strong and powerful colour capable of much tonal gradation, but the yellow - that's another matter altogether. Very hard to retain the shape without it all losing brilliancy and turning into a pastelly mush. Primroses are beginning to appear down on the Isle of Wight, rather late by comparison with previous years - so maybe it'll start getting warmer soon.....

I missed this one when it was posted. It's just gorgeous! Such a difficult color, yet you've managed the yellow throughout beautifully.
