I have combined the flow painting technique with pointillism to create a part abstract part spiritual feel to the painting. I have used metallic paints on a matt background to create extra depth and extra visual interest. I wanted to produce a picture which conjures up different images each time you look at it e.g. I have been reminded of Greek Orthodox iconography, rocky headlands, lighthouses, a piano, dancers lining up, crashing surf, a volcano, space, rainbows, the fountain of youth and so on.
