Hard to look at Jacqueline, but I know it’s a reality. I do contribute to The Brooke charity.

Apologies for the macabre subject. I didn’t intend it to upset but I am an animal lover and I guess sometimes art reflects things that make us sad, as well as those that make us joyful.

A very heart felt painting Jacqueline. It’s good to use art as a way of communicating the more unsavoury aspects of life sometimes.

A very sad subject powerfully portrayed Jacqueline. I very much agree that art should include subjects that make us think more about difficult events and subjects.

Yes I contribute too - a tribute drawing and well done you.

Tragic, Jacqueline. I hope Heaven has a lot of green fields so all the world's donkeys can one day roam free in peace.

Thank you for all your lovely comments and support. This didn’t go down well on social media but the artist community, including the manufacturer of these pencils (Arteza) as well as everyone who has contributed their kind comments here, really has understood the message I was trying to convey.
