First Self Portrait

This has a great feel to it Janet. I love the background and the colours that you've used. Also the fleece jacket looks very convincing.

I&#39;m surprised this hasn&#39;t attracted more comment and &#39;likes&#39; - maybe people find it too literal - but I&#39;ve never known what&#39;s wrong with that now and then, and anyway there&#39;s plenty of painterly detail here which, when you look, isn&#39;t just literal at all.<br /><br />It&#39;s an achievement - and by the way, you look like a very nice person, not that that&#39;s necessarily a great recommendation in a self-portrait: but I believe in the subject (which IS a recommendation) and I think you&#39;ve made a cracking job of it.
