While I'm not absolutely sure what's going on here - a slight suspicion that the dog either has done or is just about to do something very naughty indeed, I like this .... without showing the woman's face, you've said a lot about her in the inclination of her body and gesture.

She is going to pour the wine on the dog's head? The dog came in and scared her? Whatever way this is a beautiful, delicate watercolour. Well done Jane.

I like this, a subject matter that makes the imagination work so you want to look at the picture for longer... and beautifully painted as well.
