Have a bit of sympathy for yourself! You're not familiar with watercolour, it was one of your first landscapes, yet you've produced a highly imaginative painting with plenty of impact. Keep at it.

Thank you. I loved the day that I took it, it was one of those days when you look and say wow. I appreciate your comments and will certainly do just that. I thoroughly love painting with watercolour and am experimenting in many different ways with art. I may not become picasso et al but enjoy the freedom from the hum drum of life that it gives me.

Agree with Robert - a dramatic rendering of a winter scene from an unusual angle. Paint on !

I think you clearly understand what watercolour can do and have had the courage to let it do it's own thing. Good on you and keep going.

This was done with limited knowledge of watercolours and was again one of my first attempts at landscapes. I used a calligraphy pen dipped in the watercolour to achieve the fine lines and played a bit with gum arabic. The blue is depicting the shadow of trees reflecting onto the snow. I feel I could have done better and will perhaps make another attempt at this at a later date.
