Scanning does seem to change the colour. However this is a strikimg painting. I particularly like the lively greens.

Its a really good painting Jamie but if you feel it loses something in the scanner why not take a photograph, then you at least have the option of adjusting the colour to be closer to the original painting. : )

Watercolour of Bouys at Kings Lynn quayside. These have been here for a long time now - weathering away but were built to last. Another picture which looked a lot better before being scanned in. I think that scanning makes you feel like you have your nose right up against the picture rather than looking at it in holistically. It also takes some of the colour out.
