The Red Arrows are coming again to Cromer Carnival this year. I have watched them many times before and decided to do a painting based upon an amalgamation of 5 different photos I took once in the past. Luckily the sun was shinning then as it doesn't always. Had a bit of trouble with masking tape on this one as it tore the paper a little. I dislike using this, although I do rub the back glue to make it less sticky it still catches sometimes. I also won;t use masking fluid if I can get away with it. Is there a white which can safely be used over watercolour. Or am I missing another trick? Being self-taught I am learning as I go here but do pick up some useful tips from this site.
