Love your sketches. It's so nice to get out and immerse oneself in the scene in front, struggling with the equipment and weather is all part of the fun, I think. It makes a whole experience which produces a picture and a memory. What could be better.

I spent a week in Cornwall last week and managed to do lots of painting, This is one from my sketch book - a watercolour sketch of St. Ives from the Cliffs of Hayle. I painted outside as much as I could and was extremely lucky with the weather as it was an amazing week. I hope that we have many more this year so that I can get out sketching as much as possible.
