9.5 insx9.5ins on mountboard, gesso primer; colour base of cadmium red deep and phtalo turquoise shy painted upside own azure blue and titanium white applied with falt 6; shadows appiled thinly with 2 inch brush and rubbed with fingers, light area appleid thickly then sctractched, rubbed, scraped and some marks applied with coloured pencil. I've enjoyed the process, it's taken me out of my comfort zone.
