BEN; a smile after a visit to the Dentist by James A Deal

Great idea for a portrait, but will Ben thank you in future years for immortalising him looking lop-sided?! This is the sort of image that will be dragged out at his wedding, poor lad. I think this is a very nice pastel and a good portrait - well done (although I should duck when Ben sees it!).

Oh, I should think he'll be quite happy with it in future: it's a very appealing portrait - and James, it's good to see you back on POL: you've been away too long, and I hope you're well.
