Lindisfarne Castle

This is a great, well-balanced painting. The tricky rocks in the foreground are rendered very well and the two walkers add interest and and proportion to the whole. Bravo!

James, in response to your kind remark on Pizzo Prata: it's certainly not for me to give you advice since your mountains already show the most important prerequisite for painting them: passion! If I had to say something it would be, let the paper work for you: give the white a chance to shine and dazzle, and exploit the texture.
