Partly imagined scene inspired by the agricultural landscape of Cumbria’s Eden Valley. Painted with a Chinese brush on Canson cold-pressed paper with a limited watercolour palette of Raw Umber, Indian Red and Prussian Blue. Motivation came from a recent YouTube video (“A backlit landscape”) by Jem Bowden.
