Sadgill, a hamlet in Longsleddale, lies beyond the ancient bridge over the River Sprint. Longsleddale apparently inspired John Cunliffe’s setting of the fictional valley of Greendale in “Postman Pat”. Line and wash on Not watercolour paper.
