Thank you Malcom, Heather, Paul and Thalia for commenting. Much appreciated. The shading was done with four shades of India ink in Faber–Castell Pitt brush pens, which I generally prefer to hatching. I think sketching buildings is helping me to develop a looser style, thus avoiding "technical drawing".
