Thanks so much for your kind comments Russell, Heather and Christine, yes it is a such a great cause and aren’t we so grateful to them all!. Meg is at the very beginning of her nursing career and the other nurse I painted is celebrating 40 years in nursing this year, so it was great to be able to paint two nurses at different stages in nursing.

It’s a long time since I last posted any work, but I have still been busy painting. I recently took part in the #portraitsfornhsheroes intitiative, painting two oil portraits for nurses. This is the most recent one, of Meg who is a recently qualified Intensive Care nurse. It was such a privilege to paint the portraits of such dedicated nurses.
