I really like this painting . The light on the ornaments and the trumpet ( I remember having one of those) is wonderful and I live the way you have painted the little fairy lights

Hang on Studio Wall

This little oil painting was done in the final couple of hours of 2016, while waiting to see the New Year in. I found it very poignant to paint, as that little trumpet has seen many Christmases and I remembered loved ones who are no longer here. I've wanted to paint that little ornament for several years, but always been too busy, I'm so glad I finally managed to do it.
