Lovely painting - you make me feel guilty, because although I almost live in Cornwall, I have never painted boats there!

A lovely scene Jacky, I like your loose style very much.

The ropes add a lot Jacky. Smashing subject, quite difficult too but well managed.

Thank you so much Linda, Fiona, Margaret, Jenny and Derek for your comments, it's always so helpful to get feedback as I find it very hard to judge my own work. Linda, how lovely to live near the sea! Derek, yes I did find the subject bit of a challenge, but I do love boats . . . It was the ropes with their wonderful covering of seaweed that drew me to these boats. Fiona, years ago I used to paint in a very 'tight' way, but I am having a lot of fun painting much more loosely - I'm so glad you like it.

Wonderful and great sky and birds.
