Thanks so much Ibolya, I am usually just a fair-weather plein air painter so the cold was a challenge to me, but I enjoyed it so much I'm sure I will do more winter paintings on location now - I will invest in some hand warmers first though!

Good for you Jacky! What a result for your suffering, such great colour and atmosphere. I use those fingerless gloves, knitted ones.

Thanks Fiona, I bought some thermal fleece gloves and cut the ends of the fingers off - still took forever to thaw out after though. Worth it all for the experience!
