I think adding a figure + dog would improve this a lot, but the colours and textures you have created are smashing.

Thanks for your kind comments. Derek, I do take on board your comment that my my little painting would be improved a lot by adding a figure and a dog, but this is a place I could never get to because I'm a wheelchair user, and I just wanted to imagine myself there enjoying the solitude of the place and the stiff sea breeze on my face. :-)

That's fine Jacky, we don't know these things and we create a work for our own thoughts, expressions and feelings. It works as it stands. Just me, I like figures in pieces.

I agree with you Derek, I like to see figures in paintings too - really value your thoughts, it all helps me improve, thank you :-)
