I also know it well, though it didn't look quite like this on Monday after we'd walked from Sandsend to Whitby on the beach with a very heavy fret and mist which didn't clear all day. Whitby has an atmospheric scene round every corner and you've captured this view very well in oils, Jack. The water and bridge are especially well done, colours are spot on.
