I painted this on A3 heavy watercolour paper. The painting has mainly been done with watercolour, although I did use a little acrylic ink in the skeleton leaves. Once the main painting was done, I overpainted using sea sponges and watercolour. I did this using various shades over and over. Lastly, I took colour back out so that some of the orginal leaves appeared again, and to bring light back into the painting.
