An unusual, striking design with a lovely choice of colour Sudra.

Sorry, should be ‘Sidra’.

Lovely colours Sidra. We never stop learning….

Thank you, Jenny! 🌸 I spent a lot of time thinking about the color harmony for this design, so I am truly happy that you like it. Your kind words are a beautiful motivation. 🎨

Thank you very much, Russell. 🙏 "Meticulous" is exactly the right word for Tazhip – it requires an incredible amount of patience and a very steady brush. I really appreciate you noticing the effort! 🖌️📜

Thank you so much, Carole! ❤️ And please, don't worry at all about the name – I really appreciate your kindness! I am so glad you find the traditional design and colors striking. 🌸✨

Thank you, Marjorie! 🌸 Your words are so true as we never stop learning. I feel like every single day spent with the brush teaches me something new and deeper about this craft. 🙏📜

While working on my current Tezhip, I’m sharing this finished piece for contrast 🔄✨ It shows how crucial paper choice is📜🖌️ I used watercolour paper tinted by myself to break the white background 🫖🍂 However, classic paper isn't ideal for this art ❌ I also used gouache, Winsor & Newton ink, and pan gold 🎨 Still, it was a great lesson to learn from my mistakes! ⚜️
