Thank you Romila for your kind words ! The part you're asking about is actually real 23k gold leaf mixed with honey. I prepared it following the instructions of some artists from online lectures. It's just a small amount, as I wanted to try out the process and learn how to do it. For my future work, I'll definitely keep looking for the perfect gold paint—so far I haven't found the ideal one, since they usually resemble Winsor & Newton's gold ochre or Paul Rubens' glitter watercolors. But for this specific project, the result is exactly what I wanted✨

For a few days, I’ve been working on a new project ✨ I have a huge weakness for tiny floral patterns. 🌸 After my first piece, I know smaller means harder, but my risk-taking spirit couldn't pass by this design. 🔥 For a change, I’m using Japanese watercolors 🎨🇯🇵 with this gorgeous pastel lilac background 🪻💜 It feels like it carries the scent of all flowers !
