SUN-BURST.(DOODLE )

I really like the way you say 'doodle' as if you did it in a coffee break.I like the reflections in the water. Do you sell your pictures? they are fantastic.

Thankyou Suzanne, your comments are very much apprieacated, well, when i say ..doodle, its because i have no clear idea of what i'm going to paint.!!! so i just... fiddle.! if that makes any sense? not that i usually do. (make sense, i mean.lol.) they certainley do not take very long to do at all. max about 10-to-20 mins, and of course the obliglitory coffe or tea break in between. lol. no i have only ever sold two pics..in the 6 to 7 yrs iv'e been painting. and i suspect they were bought by family to give as gifts for there friends!!!! it has never surprised me in the least, as i have never thought they were good eneough ....to..sell.!!! thanks for taking a peek. regards. Well Suzanne I did ask to buy one but she refused and sent it to me instead (still searching for a suitable sized frame). Some business woman. I sincerely hope you entered that other one in Patchings Rhian.- sorry I'm not as keen on this one. Reflections, sky and water are great but the sun's a bit too much for me. I just don't know how you get those wonderful lights in your skies.

Very dramatic. Great colours, I like your sense of abandonment, you don't seem afraid to use colour.

Well thanks all, yes Diana you did offer to buy it. but as i said i couldn't justify selling such a tatty wee painting.!!!! so in deference to YOUR superb talent, i gave it as a gift and much pleasure it gave me to do it. at lest it went to a good homr rather than end up ,...under the bed to be forgotten. and i don't know how i get those lights in the sky either.!! lol i have said before,..that i do not know ..."what i'm doing most of the time!!!! i just chuck the paint on and ..."pray" !!! and carol, yes is it abanodonment,.....or....just plain..."slapdash.!! lol. oooooops!!!! its a bit like my typing..! please exscuse,....smelling-pistakes.!!! lol. Well, I missed this one didn't I. I have to keep repeating - you paint the best skies I have seen on this site. They really are amazing. I came here to thank you for your concern re the arthritis. I have pustular psoriasis on the feet not pleasant. Psoriatic arthritis in nearly all my joints. The ankles and my back have been attacked badly lately cannot walk. I was very down but beginning to except it. Last week when I felt like crying I read your comment on Bill's work and I couldn't stop laughing you really cheer me up. I take it you suffer with the dreaded thing too?

I was filling in time before going to the surgery bu perusing the portfolios...there you are Rhian..a fabulous sky & reflections...brilliant colours...love it...and your art too...
