What a wonderful, wonderful portrait. I havent ever seen an image of Beckett. This face has real character. You have brought back a wonderful evening which I spent at Stratford where they performed a series which they called"Beckett Shorts" it was a number of his works and the audience were standing and moving around in the dark a lot of the time. Not least intellectually in my case. That really sparked an interest on my part and I have read a number of his works now. So thank you very much for posting this. I also like the other image you posted.

An excellent drawing that brings back one of the most perplexing writers of our time, whom I can't pretend to have understood. But your drawing reflects the man's character.
