Oil on board 8 x 6". Pochade in about 3/4 hr, painted in february from one of the hides overlooking the salt marsh near silverdale Lancashire. the sketch is aimed at something a bit bigger, although I like the flow and simplicity of the sketch, something I doubt I can reproduce in the larger version.
