A delightful serene view. I like the delicate pallet, lovely work.

I live in Bourton David so this one jumped out at me but where are the 1000+ daily visitors? ( only joking!). If you’re a Terry Harrison fan, you’ll probably know that he lived here for many years prior to his premature death a few years ago. I also changed to water soluble oils about three years ago and they are a lot more user friendly, but I still hanker for the “proper oils” sometimes.

Wow, love it.

It was such a sad day when he passed away far far too soon. He was a real inspiration and tutor for me (from his books and videos) and his range of brushes really helped to improve my work. I know exactly what you mean about 'proper oils'. The water soluble ones are great but at times they do just lack something. I often wonder if it is the mediums that are produced for them. Still, they are a step or two up from acrylics and i can usually get the atmos and effects I want.
