The Mask 3 by Spencer Lambeth-Angell
This painting is not meant to be horrific. My personal thoughts are that as humans the one thing that’s identical is our skull. The skin is actually a mask that we wear and by using our face muscles we can smile, scowl, grimace, etc but our skin can also mask or hide our true feelings. I’ve melted the skin away but left the eyeballs as they say they can be the view to our soul.
