Disturbing image Spencer- always hated clowns, but the line drawing is good 👍.

Nice work Spencer. Nothing so ambiguous as a clown. I like the contrast between the line drawing and the more fully worked clown. You haven't given the clown a monstrous face or expression...I think that works well.

Thank you Sylvia. They do say some art should be emotive and get a response - that’s my thought at the moment! I will be getting back to calmer themes soon. Thank you Bobbie. It is something we have all experienced at one time or seen someone go through it. I wonder if anyone has examined why quite a few people have a negative response to clowns?

That clown’s eye looks a bit menacing Spencer! One of the nightmares that I had as a child still haunts me to this day.

Thanks for your comment Frank. It’s strange that a clowns make up, clothing and mannerisms can effect peoples emotions.

I agree with Andrew, disturbing and I don't like clowns. Line drawing is very good, maybe a little colour on the pillow? The colour will lift the child more into the picture. You should not throw away ‘bad’ artwork, keep it to see your mistakes, it will help your development.
