I recently made a quick trip to Staithes on the North Yorkshire coast and managed to paint three paintings on a sunny but blustery Saturday. This one is of the view from Cowbar overlooking the village. What a challenge all those rooftops were, but I had a very happy couple of hours dealing with it all. As I worked the painting caught the eye of a passerby who later got in touch to buy it, which was a nice surprise. But I do really love this painting so may need to go back and do another one!
