Many thanks to all those who have looked at this painting and special thank to those who have taken the time to comment- Heather, John, Stephen, Chris, Marjorie and Paul. As always, I don’t think this photo does true justice to the actual painting but it is the best I could get! This was a very special day in early spring 2025, when I was still able to walk long distances. A pair of buzzards soared above, calling to one another and a common lizard basked in the strengthening sun I followed the little lane to climb to the high downs of Purbeck.
