From a photo by Martin Murray that he took when we were at Bempton Cliffs. I tried to avoid too much detail, get the feeling of sea, sky and land merging, with the shock of colour from the beak and legs that makes them stand out. Inktense and watercolour, pans and pencils and granulation.
