i like this :-) and agree pastel is brutal on the fingers but fingers work better than the paper stumps i find :-) you are very talented :-)

I like this too! I thought it was a watercolour at first, the sky is very well blended and the mountains receed nicely.

Lovely and atmospheric. Love the tranquility of the scene. It's not an approach for everyone, but when I was working in pastels, I used surgical gloves so I didn't have to scrub my hands everytime I finished a piece. I found I could blend quite well with the gloves too.

Did this mostly this morning at class. Unison pastels on 320 grade Uart paper 11x7 inches. Really like this paper, sandpaper surface. Takes lots of pastel but can be brutal on your fingers if blending, make sure there is lots of pastel on first.
