The cat is very nicely done. It almost looks like embroidery stitches. Hope you don't mind me saying though that it just doesn't stand out against that colour background. It sort of melts into it. Try swatches of colour next to it to see what works or put it in a photo editing programme and change the background colour till you find one that makes it stand out.

Thank you for your comments. Diana I don't mind at all, I welcome all input. I used short strokes for this so it probably does look like stitches. Yes the background is too dull, as for photo editing not that good with computers!

The soft shadows and colors complement the purry nature of your subject. The tender look is gorgeous :-)
