This painting is a rendition, inspired by a painting by an American artist called Eric Bowman. His works are sublime, for me it was the pallet that l wanted to explore as well as the Midwest landscape, if which l would love to see. I am also an avid lover of the moon. To keep myself inspired and learning, l am taking a leaf from my art student days, in that we had to explore and reproduce a famous painting. So today l set off with my soft pastels, a medium l am trying hard to get to grips with.
