Well.... I finally painted the ravine. Not the ravine some are familiar with today post restoration, but the old, wild ravine l remember as a child and from this photograph l took almost 14 years ago. It's frightening to paint something so familiar and it was important that l captured the essence of how l really know the place to be. Under consultation of 2 of very well respected and long standing gardeners of Botanic, I've managed to capture what we know and how the place felt.
