Hi William this is my gallery pick of the day...more striking than your normal contributions to POL...colours, perspective, composition & its portrait format. Perhaps another artwork of this with the 'building' off-centre and the crops growing around it? A sort of Fen thing...

Thank you both for your comments ,they really are appreciated ,its nice that when you do something slightly different it is noticed,

Congratulations William! This is a brilliant painting and I am so glad it was chosen as one of the October images.

Thank you Julia ,It was a wonderfull suprise and great encouragement

Hi William....clicked on the one to have a look at your work and this is so different to the others........I love the bands of colour to give recession. Acrylic tends to die back after a day or so and I have added acrylic inks as a glaze and also oil pastel to bring back the colours. I will look in again. Thanks for leaving a comment on my work...much appreciated...isn't it great to be picked for the month's images!!

I missed this one of yours and it's even on the home page! Well done and it certainly has its place in the pick of the month. Beautiful, vibrant colours all juxtaposed with the vertical background bringing a contrast. Lovely!

What vibrancy! Wonderful.

Love the colours in this, William, and the patterns and, well, everything about it. I really wanted to thank you for your comment today on the multiple posting of boys' torsos. He and the one next to it , multiple drawings of self and stage characters, make my heart sink when I log on to the gallery.
