Well I did the opposite thing when painting the rose; I had the main rose filling the canvas completely, so I painted it with acrylic gesso for another time. You have lots of details and it's taken from a high view. A beautiful place and your trees and river are excellent. Thanks for your comments to my post.

Lovely painting William, I agree with Lorraine this is a beautiful place. Hope you are getting better

William.--- this is Australia as it should be shown. --magic --Every time I turn on my computer I type in your name , just hoping you have got a new posting.--- Well done William. Good on ya

You've captured the vastness of the place and I like the high view point, a great addition to your gallery.

Too small or not you got away with it - great picture

I wonder what the dimensions are? You have achieved a great feeling of the vastness of scale of this scene beautifully, no folly here...

William, it's lovely to see you posting again! I hope your back is better and you're fully recovered. It's a wonderful perspective and you've captured the panoramic scale of the scene very well. I love the atmosphere and the colors, and especially your rendition of the trees. Just lovely!

Thank you all for you comments, the canvas board was 10"x 12" and the scale meant that I could only suggest the cattle's movement, Chas I have two unfinished Aussie scenes I think you will like but I have one nearly finished that is a complete change for me it will be interesting to see how its received,

Had to change the picture when I realised that it was smaller than the painting, The canvas was much to small to paint such a large subject , I kept it to remind me of my folly.
