This portrait has been copied - or re-created - many times; so many times that I wonder what it is that draws people to it: it clearly resonates down the ages as few other portraits do. I have to say though that all to many of those versions get the tilt of the head and alignment of the eyes just that bit wrong: but you, sir, have got both right, and in a different medium to the original. I would like to see your original work - i.e. not versions of others' paintings so much; it's not that I have any problem with them, but I'm sure you're capable of painting more contemporary pictures. All of the ones you've shown, though, are extremely well done - the Blue Boy is particularly good.
