Having found 4 clutch pencils that I bought 3 years ago and only used once, I thought that I would try a graphite piece for the first time in ages... I could blame the pencils or the new paper but must actually admit that it's lack of practice in this medium :-(

I started attending a weekly Watercolour workshop after retiring in December 2014. I also enjoy working with graphite pencils, sometimes supplemented with watercolour pencils. I also use charcoal, pastels, Inktense, pen & ink, and coloured pencils.
