Decided to try a quick sketch of a spider, using watercolour pencils and a water brush. The paper in my sketchbook is too absorbent for watercolour and it's hot today, so the so-and-so thing was drying too fast... that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

I started attending a weekly Watercolour workshop after retiring in December 2014. I also enjoy working with graphite pencils, sometimes supplemented with watercolour pencils. I also use charcoal, pastels, Inktense, pen & ink, and coloured pencils.
